Matutu Reserve

The Matutu reserve was established in 1984 with the goal to protect the ecosystems in the Serra do Papagaio region in the southeast of Brazil. The sustainable approach to occupation proposed by the reserve is a pilot and pioneer project and it has become a reference in regards to conservation and sustainable management of mountain ecosystems.

HAU seats as one of the partner organisations of the Matutu Reserve.
